SENSEI TIM O'KEEFE
Sensei Tim O'Keefe began studying
Martial Arts in 1969 under Sensei Mike Stone in Huntington Beach, California.
He attained the rank of Blue Belt in Shorin Ryu Okinawan Karate. He continued
studying Martial Arts in various styles including Korean Tang Soo Do, Judo
and Aikido while serving in the United States Navy. He is currently studying
under Sensei Jeff Clark where he has been active in Martial Arts Competition
since 1996. He was promoted to the rank of Black Belt in October 1998 and
received his Nidan in December 2000. In his first competition as a Black
Belt he won 1st place in both Kata (Forms) and Kumite (Sparring) at the
San Diego Grand Nationals, Del Mar, California in March 1999. His goal
is to continue to improve and refine his techniques and to compete in and
win the International Black Belt Championship held annually in Las Vegas,
Nevada. |
